Сами события изменить не может никто, но у пользователя есть право выставить некоторый приоритет. Мойры не очень знают (и не очень хотят знать) к чему сами люди стремятся и расставлением лайков мы как бы намекаем. Они женщины понятливые и, как правило, идут навстречу.
Это самая простая и, в то же время, самая эффективная "магия", которую неспециалист может себе позволить. Выстраивание предопределённости касанием пальца или кликом мышки.

Мои тексты нельзя лайкать, но зато им можно донатить. Один малый донат ("садака") дервишу по силе воздействия на реальность равен десяти тысячам лайков, а это уже четверть крупного события, типа свадьбы или смены работы.
