اگر پریماتها بیمار یا تحت آزمایش‌های بیماری‌های واگیردار نباشند (که اطلاعیه پلیس بر مبنای اظهارات مدیر آزمایشگاه می‌گوید نبوده‌اند) اتفاق مهمی رخ نداده! ۴۳ میمون از محل نگهداری‌شان خارج شده‌اند!
اگر این میمون‌ها تحت آزمایش‌های بیماری‌های واگیردار بودند هم نگهداری از آن‌ها با ایمنی بیشتر انجام می‌شد، هم پس از فرارشان هشدارهای امنیتی جدی داده می‌شد و هم اقدامات ویژه و گسترده انجام می‌شد.
