در این واکسن دو قطعه از پروتئین با ویروس ایدز مشابهت داشت که خطری برای دریافت‌کننده ایجاد نمی‌کرد اما چنان‌که از قبل احتمال داده شده بود سبب تست مثبت کاذب HIV شد.
