⚠️🚨عفونت ناشی از ویروس نیپا NIPAH (NIV) که فعلاً دارو و واکسن ندارد، نرخ کشندگی‌اش از ۴۰ تا ۷۵ درصد است. دورۀ نهفتگی آن ۴ تا ۱۴ روز است اما تا ۴۵ روز هم گزارش شده. از جانوران به انسان، از غذا و به صورت انسان به انسان قابل انتقال است. درصدی از مبتلایان بی‌‌علامتند اما علائم معمول آن تب و مشکلات تنفسی و آنسفالیت حاد است. این ویروس می‌تواند در حیوانات مانند خوک هم بیماری شدید ایجاد کند.
انتقال از خوک آلوده یا بافت‌های آلودۀ آن به انسان یک بار در مالزی و سنگاپور مشکل‌آفربن شده. ۹۹-۱۹۹۸ حدود ۳۰۰ مبتلا و بیش از ۱۰۰ مرگ؛ برای مهارش بیش از یک میلیون خوک را معدوم کردند.
از ۲۰۰۱ تاکنون، بارها در بنگلادش و هند ابتلا از راه خوردن میوه‌ها یا فرآورده‌های آن‌ها که با بزاق و یا ادرار خفاش‌های آلوده در تماس بوده‌اند مشکل‌آفرین شده. جمعاً حدود ۷۰۰ مبتلا

Markets continued to grapple with the economic and corporate earnings implications relating to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. “We have a ton of uncertainty right now,” said Stephanie Link, chief investment strategist and portfolio manager at Hightower Advisors. “We’re dealing with a war, we’re dealing with inflation.
