عبارت سپتامبر سیاه (به عربی: أیلول الأسود) به جنگ داخلی اردن در خلال سپتامبر ۱۹۷۰ تا ژوئیه ۱۹۷۱ گفته می‌شود. درگیری بین دو گروه عمده جمعیت اردن یعنی فلسطینیان تحت عنوان سازمان آزادیبخش فلسطین، (به رهبری یاسر عرفات) و نیروهای مسلح اردن (به رهبری ملک حسین) صورت پذیرفت.[۱] دلیل اصلی جنگ تلاش برای به دست گرفتن رهبری اردن بود. نبرد سپتامبر ۱۹۷۰ از سرفصل‌های مهم در تاریخ حیات این جنبش است. فتح پس از موفقیت نبرد کرامه (که نبردی با نیروهای اسرائیلی بود) قدرت بسیاری یافته‌بود و نظامیان پرشمار گروه‌های مقاومت فلسطینی مناطق حساس کشور اردن را به کنترل خود درآورده بودند گپلیس را تحقیر می‌کردند، خیابان‌ها را می‌بستند، از مردم باج می‌گرفتند و به زنان تعرض می‌کردند؛ و یاسر عرفات نیز شکایت از این رفتارها را یا رد می‌کرد یا اعضای خاطی را می‌بخشید. این وضعیت که به پیدایش یک «دولت در دولت» انجامیده بود، نهایتاً به واکنش شدید دولت اردن انجامید.

In the United States, Telegram's lower public profile has helped it mostly avoid high level scrutiny from Congress, but it has not gone unnoticed. On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm.
