5⃣ آرامگاه سامانی چند قرن پس از ساخت، در زیر خاک و گل مدفون شده بود و در قرن بیستم توسط باستان‌شناسان از زیر خاک بیرون آورده، ترمیم شد.

خاک و گلی که بنا را کاملاً پوشانده بود آن از آسیب‌های محیطی و از حملۀ مغولان که بناهای بخارا را ویران کردند در امان نگه داشت.
این بنا تنها بنای بازمانده از گورستانی‌ست که بخشی از آن بوده
و حالا بنایی در میان یک پارک است.
