Конкурс ежегодно организует комитет администрации города по управлению Индустриальным районом для военнослужащих, школьников, студентов и жителей района в возрасте от 12 до 55 лет.
Со сцены прозвучали песни о Родине и о мире. Участники исполняли старые и новые произведения, ставшие лучшими образцами патриотической песни. Из 29 номеров в пяти номинациях члены жюри выбрали 15 участников, занявших призовые места. Гран-при конкурса завоевал Мичил Афанасьев, представляющий воинскую часть 30593.
