10 февраля 1982 года был поднят военно-морской флаг кораблей и судов ПВ КГБ СССР на пограничном сторожевом корабле "Сергей Судейский" проекта 1595 (шифр "Певек"), который вошел в состав 10 обрпскр (Владивосток), а затем - в состав 1 дивизии ПСКР (Петропавловск-Камчатский).
Задачи пограничного корабля обеспечения - доставка грузов в отдаленные подразделения. Помимо этого, "Судейский" выполняет задачи по охране границы и исключительной экономической зоны РФ.
