В Лондоне установлена табличка на памятнике являющейся частью Crimean War Memorial - которая посвящена событиям Черкесского геноцида 1864 года в котором гласит

«Этот мемориал посвящен памяти всех, кто либо отдал свою жизнь для защиты свободы своих наследственных земель на северном Кавказе, либо погиб во время переселения в Османскую империю, принужденные Царистской Россией после ее победы в Большой кавказской войне, завершившейся в мае 1864 года. Пусть потомки погибших отпрысков будут всегда соединены духовно и однажды воссоединены телесно со своей родиной»
