На береговой линии, от кромки моря до защитных сооружений, собирают небольшие повторные фракции мазута, которые выбросило море. Мешки с нефтепродуктами загружают в ковш экскаватора, он переносит их в кузов самосвала, чтобы вывезти с пляжа.
На основной территории пляжа, за песчаным валом, проводят деликатную очистку песка от мелких фракций мазута с помощью сита.
