Во время рабочей поездки в Республику Саха (Якутия) Заместитель Председателя Правительства – полномочный представитель Президента РФ в ДФО Юрий Трутнев вручил якутянам, участвовавшим в прошлом году в тушении лесных пожаров, Почетные грамоты Президента РФ.
«Прошлый год был трудным для Якутии. Новости про якутские пожары облетели всю страну. Тысячи людей боролись с пожарами, спасали жильё, населённые пункты. Большое спасибо вам за эту работу. В этом году принят целый ряд мер для увеличения финансирования противопожарных мероприятий. Надеемся, что мы не столкнёмся с теми проблемами, с которыми столкнулись в прошлом году», – сказал Юрий Трутнев, обращаясь к награжденным.
