1 марта в Коста-Рике, при финансовой поддержке Посольства прошло яркое празднование Масленицы, организованное Координационным советом российских соотечественников. В этом году мероприятие прошло с насыщенной музыкальной программой, увлекательными конкурсами для детей и традиционным чаепитием с блинами.

На празднике собрались представители русскоязычной диаспоры, выпускники советских и российских вузов, а также местные жители, проявляющие интерес к русским традициям и культуре.

Перед участниками мероприятия выступил Посол России Ю.В.Беджанян, который отметил значимость таких традиционных праздников для многочисленной общины соотечественников, проживающих в Коста-Рике, подчеркивающих самобытность культуры народов России.
