По итогам приемной кампании 2024 года средний балл ЕГЭ абитуриентов в ИАТЭ составил 72,4. Это говорит о том, что в Обнинск съезжаются ребята с высоким уровнем знаний не только из Калужской области, но и со всей страны и даже из зарубежья, чтобы получить высшее образование. Всего в ИАТЭ обучаются 3 200 студентов.

Стоит отметить, что у НИЯУ МИФИ в России 12 филиалов, не считая основной площадки в Москве, 2 филиала в Казахстане и Узбекистане и обнинский ИАТЭ высоко котируется среди выпускников школ.
