@GdfnShirts I also consider the European immigrants that came after WWII in that category as they also played a part in shaping this country into what it is today. Germans, Italians, Dutch, Polish, Ukrainians, etc.

We’re not doing 63 acknowledgments for every immigrant of a European nationality who stepped foot in Canada. If everyone is a Canadian, no one is. These groups can either accept that they’re Canadian now, a people and culture descending from British & French settlers, or they can leave.
