يَٰٓأَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَا تَغۡلُواْ فِي دِينِكُمۡ O Leute der Schrift, übertreibt nicht in eurer Religion وَلَا تَقُولُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلۡحَقَّۚ und sagt gegen Allāh nur die Wahrheit aus! إِنَّمَا ٱلۡمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ Wahrlich, der Messias, Jesus, Sohn der Maria, ist nur Allāhs Gesandter رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُۥٓ أَلۡقَىٰهَآ إِلَىٰ مَرۡيَمَ وَرُوحٞ مِّنۡهُۖ ist nur Allāhs Gesandter und Sein Wort, das Er Maria entbot, und Geist von Ihm. فَـَٔامِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦۖ وَلَا تَقُولُواْ ثَلَٰثَةٌۚ Darum glaubt an Allāh und Seine Gesandten und sagt nicht „Drei“*. *D.h.: sagt nicht von Allāh, dass Er in einem drei sei. ٱنتَهُواْ خَيۡرٗا لَّكُمۡۚ Hört auf (damit), das ist besser für euch! إِنَّمَا ٱللَّهُ إِلَٰهٞ وَٰحِدٞۖ Allāh ist nur ein Einziger Gott. سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥٓ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُۥ وَلَدٞۘ Preis* sei Ihm (, und Erhaben ist Er darüber), dass Er ein Kind haben sollte! *Das arabische Wort Subḥān bedeutet eigentlich „Fernhalten Allāhs von Tadel und geschöpflichen Attributen“. لَّهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ Ihm gehört (alles), was in den Himmeln und was auf der Erde ist, وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَكِيلٗا und Allāh genügt als Sachwalter.
