Медиафорум, посвященный ценности «Жизнь», подошел к концу – но это только начало 💡

На мероприятии, организованном СПбГЭТУ «ЛЭТИ» при поддержке Минобрнауки России в рамках Медиаэстафеты «17 ценностей России», 80 студентов-медийщиков пообщались с экспертами медиаиндустрии и услышали выступления врачей, спасателей, ветеранов СВО, благотворителей, философов и деятелей искусства на тему значения жизни в разных её проявлениях.

Итогом Медиафорума станет разработка социальных роликов и плакатов на тему ценности «Жизнь», среди которых жюри выберет лучшие работы. Победители Медиаэстафеты отправятся на Летнюю школу журналистики — ежегодное мероприятие Минобрнауки России для лучших медийщиков.

You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes. Asked about its stance on disinformation, Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn told AFP: "As noted by our CEO, the sheer volume of information being shared on channels makes it extremely difficult to verify, so it's important that users double-check what they read." This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. On Feb. 27, however, he admitted from his Russian-language account that "Telegram channels are increasingly becoming a source of unverified information related to Ukrainian events."
