"The West wants World War III in Ukraine," says Romanian presidential candidate Calin Georgescu, who won the cancelled first round of the election, Politico
Georgescu said the EU wants to "take control" of NATO before US President-elect Donald Trump is inaugurated on January 20.
"When they control through Secretary General Mark Rutte, they try to impose their rules and push as much as possible towards World War III in the region, in particular in Romania," he said.
According to Georgescu, the "real door" for the start of "World War III in Ukraine" is Romania.
"Without Romania, they will not be able to control this war," Georgescu said.
