🔹 21 февраля в Посольстве состоялся торжественный приём по случаю Дня защитника Отечества. В своем выступлении Посол России в Германии С.Ю.Нечаев отметил, что эта историческая дата символизирует историю Российской армии и флота, а также нерушимую связь всех поколений защитников Отчизны.

🗣 «В этот день мы отдаем дань уважения мужеству верным сынам и дочерям Отечества, проявившим доблесть и честь, чтобы защитить свою Родину, с победой прошедшим через любые испытания».

🔹 В рамках приёма проживающим в Германии ветеранам-блокадникам были вручены юбилейные медали в честь 80-летия Победы в Великой Отечественной войне 1941-1945.

Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. So, uh, whenever I hear about Telegram, it’s always in relation to something bad. What gives? This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. The S&P 500 fell 1.3% to 4,204.36, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.7% to 32,943.33. The Dow posted a fifth straight weekly loss — its longest losing streak since 2019. The Nasdaq Composite tumbled 2.2% to 12,843.81. Though all three indexes opened in the green, stocks took a turn after a new report showed U.S. consumer sentiment deteriorated more than expected in early March as consumers' inflation expectations soared to the highest since 1981. Despite Telegram's origins, its approach to users' security has privacy advocates worried.
