ترانه "به رهي ديدم برگ خزان" هم به اين صورت بود. يک روز پرويز آمد پيش من و گفت: يک آهنگ ساخته‌ام و مي‌خواهم روي آن ترانه بگذاري. با هم سوار ماشين شديم و در شهر مي‌گشتيم. داشتيم از جاده شميران مي‌آمديم بالا که يک برگ زرد افتاد روي شيشه جلوي ماشين و با برف پاککن کمي روي شيشه حرکت کرد و با باد و حرکت برف پاککن رفت. همين زمينه‌اي شد براي ساخت اين ترانه. من همان‌جا اين ترانه را شروع کردم.
