Станция Люблинско-Дмитровской линии расположена в историческом центре Москвы и входит в состав пересадочного узла треугольной структуры, расположенного в месте пересечения «Люблинско-Дмитровской» с «Сокольнической» и «Калужско-Рижской»линиями. Впервые в отделке станции московского метрополитена была применена нержавеющая сталь, в композициях, установленных в полукруглых углублениях пилонов памятники Александру Пушкину и Николаю Гоголю.
