По данным издания Baza, Скворцова нашли прохожие поздним вечером 8 февраля неподалеку от заведения общепита на Красном проспекте. По информации Baza, у спортивного комментатора мог возникнуть конфликт с компанией молодых людей, отмечавших день рождение ребенка.
Ситуацию осложняет тот факт, что сам Роман Скворцов практически ничего не помнит о событиях того вечера на Красном проспекте.
