Child sexual abuse occurs in various settings including but not limited to at home and school. Child sexual abuse happens to both boys and girls.

The most common form of child sexual abuse, as stated by UNICEF, is child marriage where young, under-aged girls are exploited sexually. The effects of child sexual abuse include but not limited to depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and potential victimization in adulthood.

The Rotaract Preconvention offers an exciting opportunity to network with Rotaractors and Rotarians from around the world. Increase your Rotaract knowledge, learn and share best practices, and build new relationships. Join Rotaractors and Rotarians to exchange ideas, listen to engaging speakers, and connect with your global community to create positive change.
Registration is now open for the Rotaract preconvention, which will be held 10-11 June 2021. The cost of the pre-convention event is US$20.

Interota is a triennial worldwide Rotaract convention organized by Rotaractors and hosted on a rotating basis in different cities. While it is not an official RI convention, Rotary recognizes the value of this event and supports Interota by approving its program content and ensuring that RI leadership is represented at the event. The convention offers workshops, discussions, and interesting speakers as well as cultural activities.

This year, Interota is virtual, free and taking place between 5th and 9th June 2021.

We have done well this year to create opportunities for our communities and our membership.

We must now go the extra mile and leave a lasting impact.

We want a strong finish of the Rotary year and we are encouraging every Rotaractor in the District to visit a school in their immediate community and plant at least *Three fruit trees*.

This will helps us improve our environment, help create future fruit reserves for the children and help us initiate the Spot It Stop It conversation.
