🔔 An experiment on testing the rules and conditions for entry into and exit from Russia of foreign citizens and stateless persons was launched on December 1st in order to create a state information resource "Digital Profile of a Foreign Citizen".
The Russian Government adopted a respective resolution on November 7th.
The information on how the experiment will be conducted and which categories of foreigners will be affected by it is in our files.

📞 في 4 ديسمبر 2024 أجرى وزير الخارجية لروسيا الاتحادية سيرغي لافروف محادثة هاتفية مع وزير الخارجية والهجرة لجمهورية مصر العربية الدكتور بدر عبد العاطي.
🗣 وتم تبادل الاراء بشكل شامل حول قضايا الشرق الأوسط الملحة مع التركيز على الأحداث الجارية في سوريا. وتم الإعراب عن قلق بالغ بشأن التصعيد الحاد في هذا البلد. وتم التأكيد على دعم سيادة ووحدة وسلامة أراضي سوريا. وتم التأكيد على ضرورة منع انتشار التهديد الإرهابي، الذي يمكن أن يؤدي إلى زعزعة استقرار المنطقة كلها.
☝️ بالإضافة إلى ذلك، ناقش سيرغي لافروف وبدر عبد العاطي الوضع في منطقة الصراع الفلسطيني الإسرائيلي. وتم التشديد على ضرورة الوصول إلى وقف إطلاق النار في اسرع وقت ممكن في قطاع غزة وتشكيل الظروف لإيجاد حل عادل للقضية الفلسطينية على الأساس القانوني الدولي المعترف به عموما.

💬 Утверждать, что люди, пришедшие к власти в результате военного госпереворота в феврале 2014 года, представляли крымчан или жителей восточной и южной Украины, абсолютно бесполезно.
Крымчане отвергли госпереворот. Они потребовали, чтобы их оставили в покое. Заявили, что не хотят иметь ничего общего с этими людьми. Так же поступил Донбасс. Крымчане провели референдум и присоединились к России. Донбасс был объявлен пришедшими к власти путчистами террористами. Их обстреливали, атаковали артиллерией. Началась война, которая была остановлена в феврале 2015 года.
Были подписаны Минские соглашения. Мы были искренне заинтересованы в том, чтобы прекратить это, но для этого было необходимо, чтобы Минские договорённости были полностью выполнены. Но они были саботированы созданным после государственного переворота на Украине правительством. Было условлено, что это правительство должно вступить в прямой диалог с людьми, не принявшими госпереворот, и способствовать развитию экономических отношений с этой частью Украины.
🤷♂️ Ничего из этого не было сделано. Киевский режим заявил, что он никогда не будет говорить с ними напрямую. Это несмотря на то, что требование говорить с ними напрямую было одобрено Советом Безопасности ООН. Киевский режим назвал их террористами, поэтому они, мол, будут сражаться с ними, потому что сильнее, а те будут умирать в подвалах.
Если бы не госпереворот в феврале 2014 года и если бы соглашение, достигнутое накануне между тогдашним президентом Порошенко и оппозицией, было реализовано, Украина была бы до сих пор едина и Крым был бы в её составе. Это очевидно.
❗️Они не выполнили это соглашение. Вместо этого они организовали госпереворот.

🎙 Excerpt from Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s interview to Tucker Carlson (Moscow, December 5, 2024)
❓ Question: In the last month since the election [in the US], you have all sorts of things going on politically in bordering states in this region. In Georgia, in Belarus, in Romania, and then, of course, most dramatically in Syria, you have turmoil.
Does this seem like part of an effort by the US to make the resolution more difficult?
💬 Sergey Lavrov: There is nothing new, frankly. Because the US, historically, in foreign policy, was motivated by making some trouble and then to see if they can fish in the muddy water.
Iraqi aggression, Libyan adventure — ruining the state, basically. Fleeing from Afghanistan. Now trying to get back through the back door, using the UN to organize some ‘event’ where the US can be present, in spite of the fact that they left Afghanistan in very bad shape and arrested money and don't want to give it back.
❗️ I think this is, if you analyze the American foreign policy steps, adventures, most of them are the right word — the pattern. They create some trouble, and then they see how to use it.
When the OSCE monitors elections, when it used to monitor elections in Russia, they would always be very negative, and in other countries as well, Belarus, Kazakhstan. This time, in Georgia, the monitoring mission of OSCE presented a positive report. And it is being ignored.
🤷♂️ So when you need endorsement of the procedures, you do it when you like the results of the election. If you don't like the results of elections, you ignore it.
It's like when the US and other Western countries recognized unilateral declaration of independence of Kosovo, they said this is the self-determination being implemented. There was no referendum in Kosovo — unilateral declaration of independence. By the way, after that the Serbs approached International Court of Justice, which ruled that (well, normally they are not very specific in their judgment, but they ruled) that when part of a territory declares independence, it is not necessarily to be agreed with the central authorities.
And when a few years later, Crimeans were holding referendum with invitation of many international observers, not from international organizations, but from parliamentarians in Europe, in Asia, in post-Soviet space, they said, no, we cannot accept this because this is violation of territorial integrity.
☝️ You know, you pick and choose. The UN Charter is not a menu. You have to respect it in all its entirety.

Правительство расширило перечень стран, граждане которых могут приезжать в Россию по единой электронной визе
🌐Теперь в перечень входят 64 государства.
⚡️ Механизм выдачи электронных виз стартовал 1 августа 2023 года. Визы оформляются на портале МИД России для туристических, деловых, гуманитарных и гостевых поездок.
⚡️ Для получения электронной визы не требуется приглашений, брони в отеле или каких-либо других документов, подтверждающих цель путешествия. Оформление занимает не более четырех дней. Детям до 6 лет визу оформляют бесплатно.

⚡️ С крайней озабоченностью следим за драматическими событиями в Сирии.
В результате состоявшихся переговоров Б.Асада с рядом участников вооруженного конфликта на территории САР он принял решение оставить президентский пост и покинул страну, дав указание осуществить передачу власти мирным путем.
Россия в этих переговорах не участвовала.
При этом обращаемся ко всем вовлеченным сторонам с убедительным призывом отказаться от применения насилия и решать все вопросы управления политическим путём.
В связи с этим Российская Федерация находится в контакте со всеми группировками сирийской оппозиции.
Призываем к уважению мнений всех этноконфессиональных сил сирийского общества, поддерживаем усилия по налаживанию инклюзивного политического процесса, основанного на единогласно принятой Советом Безопасности ООН резолюции 2254.
Рассчитываем, что эти подходы будут учитываться ООН и всеми заинтересованными игроками, в том числе в контексте реализации инициативы спецпредставителя Генсекретаря ООН по Сирии Г.Педерсена по безотлагательной организации межсирийских инклюзивных переговоров в Женеве.
Одновременно принимаются все необходимые меры для обеспечения безопасности наших граждан, находящихся в Сирии.
Российские военные базы на территории Сирии находятся в режиме повышенной боевой готовности. На данный момент серьёзной угрозы их безопасности нет.
