27 декабря вышло Постановление Правительства Москвы, переводящее 146 особо охраняемых природных территорий (ООПТ) в особо охраняемые зелёные территории (ООЗТ). В списке "преобразованных" числятся и Сокольники.
На природных территориях, имевших ранее некоторую юридическую защищённость, теперь можно строить автомобильные дороги, железнодорожные линии и объекты капитального строительства спортивного назначения. А если этого будет недостаточно, можно изменить границы ООЗТ - и после уже ни в чём себе не отказывать.
