يقول ابن القيم -رحمه الله-: فإن القرآن لم ينزل لمجرد التلاوة وانعقاد الصلاة عليه، بل أُنزل ليُتدبَّر ويُعقَل، ويُهتدى به علمًا وعملًا، ويُبصِّر من العمى، ويُرشِد من الغي، ويُعلِّم من الجهل، ويَشفِي من العِيِّ، ويهدي إلى صراط مستقيم.
