14 апреля 2023 года группа машинистов из пяти человек, находясь на участке местности КСА-1 месторождения «Горное» МНГОК АК «АЛРОСА» (ПАО), заранее договорившись, слили в канистры с горной техники (бульдозеров и погрузчиков) 1 250 литров дизельного топлива, на общую сумму 66,9 тыс рублей, после чего скрылись с похищенным.
В компании АЛРОСА пройти мимо такого дерзкого преступления не смогли, после чего в отношении пяти машинистов было возбуждено уголовное дело по ч. 2 ст. 160 УК РФ, что грозило максимальным наказанием в виде 5 лет лишения свободы. У двоих обвиняемых даже арестовали внедорожники Toyota Land Cruiser.
Однако Мирнинский районный суд не стал жестить и сославшись, что подсудимые вину признали в полном объеме, принесли извинения АК «АЛРОСА» (ПАО), возместили причиненный вред, 7 июня прекратил уголовное дело, назначив судебный штраф по 20 тыс рублей каждому.
