The retired US Army Combat Engineer was looking to do something different with his life after his wife passed away. So he decided to put his military background to use as a volunteer with the Ukrainian police and National Guard. He teaches members and agencies in Ukraine in IED awareness and Combat Engineering. As an Iraq veteran, he never imagined that he would be facing war again, but this time he wouldn't fight with farmers.
There, Kimble fell in love with a Ukrainian woman and remarried, taking her daughter as his own. His two children not only lost their mother, but also their father. From time to time he returns home to the USA just to say hello.
