The Archaeometer (Gnosis Edition)
Saint-Yves d'Alveydre
Following Saint-Yves d'Alveydre's death, two publications entitled L'Archéomètre appeared. The first was the study begun in July-August 1910 in the Revue La Gnose, which is the subject of this book. The other is the compilation by Papus's group, "Les Amis de Saint-Yves". The latter has acquired a status of reference, not because of the quality of its content, but because it was the only one to be republished since then.
The Archeometer of La Gnose appeared from July-August 1910 (1st year, no 9) to February 1912 (3rd year, no 2). This study remained unfinished when the Revue ceased publication, probably due to a lack of subscriptions. Until now, it had never been republished in English. For the first time, we are also reproducing notes written by RenΓ© GuΓ©non for the published study: the preparation of the article in the March 1912 issue of La Gnose, and two other texts.

The First day of Creation, circa 1545. Francisco de Holanda
This 16th century painting is a mystical and symbolic representation of divine creation. A luminous triangle, inscribed with the Greek letters Alpha and Omega and the Latin phrase βFiat Luxβ (βLet there be lightβ), descends from a radiant circle into a swirling, primordial void. Flames and cosmic waters surround the central vortex, suggesting chaos giving way to divine order. The painting blends Renaissance humanism with Christian cosmology and Neoplatonic thought, visualizing the moment light emerged from darkness

The last Jupiter Saturn square happens today and the last two exact aspects were on August 19th and December 24th last year however the planets have been square by sign continuously.
This difficult aspect brought about depressing and troublesome situations - bad luck, problems with air travel, lack of joy and optimism, and general doom and things going wrong. It depends on the aspects that the square made to your own chart and some were more affected than others. Mutable and cardinal signs were most affected but some pressure is still on cardinal signs because of Saturn in Aries.
