В Госдуме предложили повысить штраф за езду без полиса до пяти тысяч рублей, сообщает «Коммерсантъ». Инициативу поддержали в правительстве России и МВД.
Отмечается, что новый штраф будет совсем немного не дотягивать до стоимости самого полиса, которая на сегодняшний день составляет около 7650 рублей.
Но некоторые эксперты сомневаются в эффективности этой меры, поскольку использование дорожных камер для проверки полисов будет возможно не раньше осени 2026 года, а с 1 марта 2025-го ГИБДД перестанет проверять полисы при регистрации автомобилей.
