Far less of #London's beauty remains in comparison with what's disappeared. Below is the Blackfriars pub on Queen Victoria Street, as it was in 1966 and today. Even though the visible differences of the surroundings are small, they're large enough to ruin an otherwise charming image. If you start looking for the real traces of #London, you'll quickly discover how little of it is actually left alive. @BritainsPubs

The Crooked Billet Pub on the corner of Billet and #Chingford Roads, #Walthamstow, 1907. First mentioned in the early 18th century demolished in the 1980s due to road widening. A true crime. #RIP

Ironically, what makes #Edinburgh so visited and admired by people across the world isn't because it's some kind of classless epicentre of generic futurism, but because it isn't.

We will never know how many people who appear to have no feelings have simply felt so much it's made them numb.

There are monumental differences brought about by ignoring, taking, or being the example.

The reason that nobody seems to hear each other is because everybody has become so used to waiting for one another to finish each other's sentence that they've forgotten how to listen.
