24 ноября в офисе Свердловского «Яблока» в Екатеринбурге прошёл традиционный вечер писем политическим заключённым, но с одним отличием – в письмах мы писали поздравления с наступающим Новым годом.
Как и всегда, мероприятие было организовано при поддержке активистов Свердловского Молодёжного «Яблока».
С самыми тёплыми пожеланиями было написано:

Письма с поддержкой от неравнодушных сограждан найдут своих адресатов уже в скором времени, а мы благодарим всех, кто посетил наш офис в прошедшее воскресенье!
Вечера писем политическим заключённым ежемесячно проходят в офисах региональных отделений партии «Яблоко» во многих уголках России.

The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes. The next bit isn’t clear, but Durov reportedly claimed that his resignation, dated March 21st, was an April Fools’ prank. TechCrunch implies that it was a matter of principle, but it’s hard to be clear on the wheres, whos and whys. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych. In view of this, the regulator has cautioned investors not to rely on such investment tips / advice received through social media platforms. It has also said investors should exercise utmost caution while taking investment decisions while dealing in the securities market. You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback.
