Один из старейших целлюлозно-бумажных заводов Сахалина, построенный в 1919 году. Завод выпускал писчую и туалетную бумагу, обложки, тетради, школьные дневники, альбомы, салфетки, обои.

В 1992 году на заводе произошёл крупный пожар, часть оборудования сильно пострадала, восстанавливать ее было нерентабельно. В 1993 году завод прекратил производство бумаги. Сейчас на его территории находятся множество других построек, но развалины здания все еще доступны для осмотра туристами.

Continuing its crackdown against entities allegedly involved in a front-running scam using messaging app Telegram, Sebi on Thursday carried out search and seizure operations at the premises of eight entities in multiple locations across the country.
