По сообщениям марокканских СМИ фура была загружена 15-ю тоннами гашиша. Жадность перегруз также послужил одной из причин ДТП.
Инцидент с перевернутым грузовиком парализовал движение транспорта на вышеупомянутом участке трассы из-за разбросанных по обочинам связок гашиша, моментально вызвавших интерес местных жителей.
