По словам первого заместителя гендиректора по атомной энергетике Росатома Александра Локшина, официальное начало возведения АЭС в Египте планируется в первой половине июля этого года.
АЭС «Эд-Дабаа», которая будет построена по проекту Росатома, будет состоять из энергоблоков с российскими реакторами ВВЭР-1200 поколения 3+ (4 блока мощностью 1200 мегаватт каждый).
