Недавно забрала у подруги свои сирийские книги, которые она мне привезла из Дамаска (за меньше, чем год жизни в Сирии я собрала целую библиотеку килограмм на 15-20 и все увезти не смогла😅)

И мне очень захотелось поделиться работами фотографа Джанни Лимонта, на которых он запечатлел Сирию и сирийцев. Фото собраны в книге с потрясающим названием: «Золото, ладан и Сирия»

Пролистывая эту книгу вновь поражаешься тому, как на одном маленьком участке земли можно увидеть такое разнообразие людей, традиций, природы, религий, а в этом всем и всю историю нашей цивилизации, сжатой в границах этой небольшой страны.
