Как-то я был в Копенгагене и зашел перекусить. Пока готовили сэндвич я обратил внимание что двое сотрудников закусочной переговариваются на незнакомом мне языке. При случае, я поинтересовался у одного из работников, на каком языке они говорят и оказалось что это курдский.
В ответ он спросил откуда мы, я ответил что с Кавказа. Редкий человек за пределами стран бывшего Совка и может быть Турции, сразу понимает о чем речь, но мой собеседник неожиданно спросил откуда именно с Кавказа. Я ответил из Осетии, что вообще никогда на моей памяти не вызывало понимания. Но неожиданно мой новый знакомый ответил: "Ohh, Alans!".
Оказался очень образованный человек, эмигрировавший из Турции после одного из военных мятежей в 1980-х. После обсуждения геополитики, мы перешли к поиску языковых параллелей между осетинским и курдским языками, которые около 2.5-3 тысячи лет назад имели общего языкового предка.
На этом попрощались. После общения с легендарными стамбульскими таксистами, среди которых много курдов, это был положительный опыт.

The last couple days have exemplified that uncertainty. On Thursday, news emerged that talks in Turkey between the Russia and Ukraine yielded no positive result. But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides. Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Telegram may be asked by a government to hand over the communications from a channel. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee. A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes.
