One of my favorite pastimes is browsing random books on archive.org—especially old encyclopedias. I love that site!
Take, for example, The Mitchell Beazley Joy of Knowledge Encyclopedia: “Man & Machines” (1977). The sheer density of technical drawings and schematics per square inch is mind-blowing and super inspirational.
Best part? Many of these books are available for high-res PDF downloads (!).
