В Канаде при выполнении рейса AC2259 экипаж самолёта Bombardier Dash 8 Q-400 (б/н C-GPNA) авиакомпании PAL Airlines готовился к посадке в аэропорту назначения Halifax (CYHZ/YHZ), однако после касания подломилась левая основная стойка шасси, из-за чего самолёт стал разворачиваться влево, консоль крыла касалась ВПП, что вызвало пожар левого двигателя.
