Моя жена сильнее многих женщин,
Она – жена военного, и ей
Обычный мир судьбою не обещан
С его привычным ходом дел и дней.

Смиренно наблюдая за часами,
Но в тайне их медлительность кляня,
Неделями, нередко – месяцами
Она, не уставая, ждёт меня.

Моя жена сильнее многих женщин.
Когда в командировке я, она
Замажет на стене узор из трещин,
По комнатам пройдёт, как старшина.

Подвинет шкаф, сама починит дверцу,
Которую сломал проказник-сын.
А по ночам она рисует сердце
Из наших двух сердечных половин.

Даст Бог, меня любить не станет меньше,
Насытившись разлуками сполна.
Моя жена сильнее многих женщин
Но в этой силе есть моя вина.
