Суданская армия в своем заявлении на платформе «Х» сообщила, что средства противовоздушной обороны перехватили два вражеских беспилотника, направлявшихся к месту проведения церемонии. В результате атаки погибло пять человек, подсчёт раненых ещё продолжается.
