По первым кадрам нового тизера «Обезьяны» уже было хотелось обвинить Пёркинса в том, что дядька забронзовел и теперь будет неуклонно следовать тем постановочным паттернам, что он отточил в Longlegs.
Но потом экран озарило имя Джеймса Вана и происходящее перешло в режим кэмпового макабр-феста, явно нацеленного на развлекательный кровавый угар.
Учитывая крайне недурное чувство юмора Пёркинса, которое дозированно проскакивало в «Длинноногом», полноценный уход режиссёра в комедию ужасов выглядит донельзя органично.
Надеемся, что «Обезьяна» дойдет до наших кинотеатров.
