С 1 января 2025 года в Южной Осетии временно прекратят прием документов на получение гражданства по статье, связанной с историческими корнями. Об этом официально сообщила комиссия по вопросам гражданства.
Ограничение затронет только тех, кто претендует на гражданство согласно ст. 14 ч. 3 закона о гражданстве РЮО. Этот пункт предусматривает выдачу паспорта гражданам, чьи родственники по прямой линии (родители, бабушка или дедушка) родились в республике или в Югоосетинской автономной области. Для оформления гражданства требуется подтверждение этих фактов документально.
