🇺🇦🇺🇸🇮🇱❗️🇷🇺 Ukraine's SBU Adopts Mossad Tactics, Strengthens CIA Ties
Ukrainian intelligence (SBU) is reportedly emulating Israel's Mossad, targeting "enemies abroad," as seen in the assassination of Russian General Igor Kirillov in Moscow.
The SBU recruits outside contractors—often via Telegram—offering money or using threats to ensure cooperation. Despite international calls for reform, the SBU remains highly influential, with Western countries bolstering ties amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
An anonymous diplomat noted: "The SBU has enormous power—some say too much." Close collaboration with the CIA includes millions invested in agent training.

"The argument from Telegram is, 'You should trust us because we tell you that we're trustworthy,'" Maréchal said. "It's really in the eye of the beholder whether that's something you want to buy into." Telegram was founded in 2013 by two Russian brothers, Nikolai and Pavel Durov. Messages are not fully encrypted by default. That means the company could, in theory, access the content of the messages, or be forced to hand over the data at the request of a government. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences. In addition, Telegram now supports the use of third-party streaming tools like OBS Studio and XSplit to broadcast live video, allowing users to add overlays and multi-screen layouts for a more professional look.
