Мещанский районный суд Москвы продолжает рассматривать уголовное дело в отношении руководителей ГК «Газэнергострой» Сергея Чернина, Дмитрия Сучкова и Валерия Меркулова. Обвиняемым вменяют мошенничество и легализацию полученных преступным путем денежных средств в ходе реализации проектов ликвидации накопленного вреда в Нижегородской области (Белое море и полигон Игумново).
Накануне, 6 июня, были опрошены потерпевшие — Минприроды РФ и минприроды Нижегородской области.
«Газэнергострой» назначили подрядчиком по ликвидации «Игумново», «Белое море» и «Черной дыры» в 2016 году. Цена госконтракта составила более 7 млрд рублей.
В 2022 году за срыв работ по «Черной дыре» подрядчику насчитали 200 млн рублей штрафов, однако позже они неожиданно были снижены в 400 раз — до 500 тыс. рублей. В конце того же года заподозренное в мошенничестве руководство головной корпорации «Газэнергострой» было арестовано.
