الحياء في الرجل يُضاعف سِحر الرجولة فيه، بل هو تمام الرجولة. لا أعني بسحر الحياء احمرار خديه أو اسبال أهداب عينيه كما يتبادر للذهن فهذه مُنافسة أنثوية غير مقبولة، وإنما الحياء هو ذلك الترفع والشموخ عن الصغائِر ومواضع الخلل، هو تلك الأفعال التي تشعرك بعظمة النفس وسموها عن التفاهات وتغاضيها عن المؤثرات بانصراف القلب عنها قبل العين.. الحياء فِطرة لكنه يُربى في النفس أيضًا ليصبح سجية تلزمك بأقوال وأفعال تمثل شخصيتك. والحياء مُشتق من الحياة والحياة مجموعة من أفعال الصواب وترك الزلل، وهل هُناك أكثر جمالًا وسِحرًا من رجلٍ خلقه الحياء عفّ لسانه وقلبه عن خوض التفاهات، هل هُناك أقوى تأثيرًا من رجلٍ تثقين به حد الإطمئنان فأنتِ تدركين أين تصل بِه أفعاله وجفاءه فالحياء يرده عن كُلِّ قبيح.
