🇷🇺✈️ The Russian Embassy in South Africa had the pleasure of seeing off two young South Africans from the New Jerusalem Children’s Home in Midrand as they prepare to begin their educational journeys in Russia.
Queen Nhlapo has been awarded a scholarship from the Government of the Russian Federation. With the support of South Africa’s Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), she will begin her university studies in biotechnology at one of Russia’s leading universities this year.
Solly Zulu will travel to Kazan to represent South Africa at the BRICS Youth International Festival – a major gathering of young leaders from BRICS countries focused on cooperation, innovation, and global dialogue.
As part of the send-off, the Embassy met with Queen and Solly to provide guidance on staying and studying in Russia.
💻📚 Queen also received a student care package – a backpack, laptop, and study supplies – to support her academic path.
We are proud of their achievements and wish them every success as they embark on this new chapter of learning and international friendship.
🤞Udachi! – Good luck, Queen and Solly!
