Днем 22 ноября в 16:40 пожарным города Назарово поступил вызов из девятиэтажки по Советской. Возгорание произошло в двухкомнатной квартире на втором этаже.
Его тушили 13 человек с помощью пяти единиц техники. С пламенем удалось справиться только в 17:46. Хозяин жилища пострадал в огне, который успел охватить 35 квадратных метров. В общей сложности, сотрудники МЧС спасли восемь человек (из них трое детей) из задымленных подъезда и квартир.
Предварительно, причиной происшествия стала непотушенная сигарета.
