Таврическая ученая архивная комиссия (1887—1920) — организация краеведов Крыма, часть сети губернских ученых архивных комиссий Российской империи. Комиссия формировалась на добровольной основе под руководством губернатора, с участием Академии наук. Занималась охраной архитектурных памятников, сбором исторических сведений, изучением тюркоязычного населения Крыма.
Уже к первому заседанию 30 мая 1887 года было основано Археологическое собрание с музейной экспозицией.
Комиссию временно размещали в комнатах губернской земской управы, с 1909 года — в помещении на ул. Екатерининская, а в 1911 году построили собственное здание.
Планам постройки нового музея в честь 300-летия Романовых помешала Первая мировая война.
Финансирование шло за счет властей, членских взносов и частных пожертвований. ТУАК издавала "Известия Таврической Учёной Архивной Комиссии" (ИТУАК), выпустив с 1887 по 1920 годы 57 томов с более 400 научными статьями и документами.

TechCrunch implies that it was a matter of principle, but it’s hard to be clear on the wheres, whos and whys. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych.
