💪🏻Евгений Солнцев – колоссальный человек. Еще до переезда в ДНР он сделал для страны столько, что не перечесть. А в Донецкой Народной Республике за его плечами такое количество работы… благодаря которой регион расцвел.
🙌🏻У нас есть и теплые личные воспоминания. Один из первых шевронов в моей коллекции был подарен именно им. На фото в подборке как раз тот самый шеврон, который Евгений Солнцев когда-то снял с себя и вручил мне. Больше двух лет он со мной, причем побывал в самых разных передрягах… 🫂 Повторюсь, встреча получилась очень душевной. Поговорили о многом. А о чем – я еще вам расскажу! #работаем в #НовыеРегионы

Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. In addition, Telegram now supports the use of third-party streaming tools like OBS Studio and XSplit to broadcast live video, allowing users to add overlays and multi-screen layouts for a more professional look. He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. Update March 8, 2022: EFF has clarified that Channels and Groups are not fully encrypted, end-to-end, updated our post to link to Telegram’s FAQ for Cloud and Secret chats, updated to clarify that auto-delete is available for group and channel admins, and added some additional links.
