В Армянском музее Москвы 13 марта состоится лекция на тему «Геноцид армян: профилактика духовной эпидемии», которую прочтет заслуженный учитель РФ, доктор педагогических наук, член-корреспондент и академик РАО, директор Центра образования «Школа Ямбурга», автор ряда педагогических книг Евгений Ямбург, сообщается в телеграм-канале музея.
Лектор вместе с участниками попытается найти ответ на трудный и неоднозначный вопрос: «Как сделать так, чтобы наши дети не стали палачами?». История неоднократно подтверждала, что даже просвещенное общество с богатой культурой может скатиться в дикость и варварство, если составляющие его личности не прилагают усилий для сохранения в себе человечности. Ямбург потратил много времени на исследование путей предотвращения подобной участи для будущего человечества, о чем и расскажет на лекции. @alphanewsam

As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers. If you initiate a Secret Chat, however, then these communications are end-to-end encrypted and are tied to the device you are using. That means it’s less convenient to access them across multiple platforms, but you are at far less risk of snooping. Back in the day, Secret Chats received some praise from the EFF, but the fact that its standard system isn’t as secure earned it some criticism. If you’re looking for something that is considered more reliable by privacy advocates, then Signal is the EFF’s preferred platform, although that too is not without some caveats. Pavel Durov, a billionaire who embraces an all-black wardrobe and is often compared to the character Neo from "the Matrix," funds Telegram through his personal wealth and debt financing. And despite being one of the world's most popular tech companies, Telegram reportedly has only about 30 employees who defer to Durov for most major decisions about the platform. Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? And who am I securing it from?” These questions should inform your decisions about whether you are using the right tool or platform for your digital security needs. Telegram is certainly not the most secure messaging app on the market right now. Its security model requires users to place a great deal of trust in Telegram’s ability to protect user data. For some users, this may be good enough for now. For others, it may be wiser to move to a different platform for certain kinds of high-risk communications.
